About Jonathan Swanson, Broker @ RE/MAX Essential
Jonathan moved to Wilmington in 1995 to attend UNC-Wilmington. After graduating in 1999 with a B.S. in Business Management, he continues to live and work in Wilmington.
To pursue his interests in real estate, in 2004 he left the corporate world of the healthcare industry to follow his entrepreneurial spirit and dedicate himself to local real estate in the Wilmington NC area along the southeastern NC coast. He has been an active real estate investor since 2004. Jonathan has long-term and short-term rentals. He buys, fixes, and sells houses. He is also involved in single and multi-family new construction and development. He enjoys helping and learning from others and helping individuals and families buy and sell homes in the greater Wilmington area.
Jonathan has helped many real estate investors in the Wilmington area. He was a Board Member of the Coastal Carolina Real Estate Investment Association from 2006-2012. The CCREIA exists to teach people basic principles in real estate investing. It is one of the best places in the area to learn about investment real estate.
The real estate market has been HOT! There’s no question about it. But, if you’re buying or selling real estate, you will face obstacles. Jonathan, his wife Jamie, and their three boys have a busy and fun life in Wilmington. Their favorite activities in Wilmington include boating, baseball with the boys, playing and watching basketball, kayaking, traveling, and having fun hanging out with friends.
